Rodo Park is a neighborhood in the city of Montevideo, which takes its name from the park that occupies much of the neighborhood.
Rodo Park is located in a privileged area of the city, just some minutes away from downtown and along the coast of Rio de la Plata. In Rodo Park we can find the Rambla President Wilson, the Ramirez beaches, the Summer Theatre named Ramon Collazo, and also the former Park Hotel and the current headquarters of the Mercosur.
Within the park itself there is an artificial lake, a playground and a park rides which also has several dining options.
Nearby is located the Estadio Luis Franzini, Defensor Sporting Club property.
Other important buildings in this neighborhood are the National Museum of Visual Arts and the Faculty of Engineering.
Montevideo Grand Prix motor racing is held in this district on the Rambla, the quarries and the surrounding park.
